| Jack is owned and adored by Joy Hunter in W.A. and is currently being shown and trialled in a variety of disciplines. Jack and Joy have been trialling in obedience and tracking, and have also ventured into jumping, retrieving and field trials. Jack passed his Tracking Qualification Test in 2007, at his very first attempt. In 2008, he gained his TD title as well as 2 passes towards his CCD title, including a 1st place in the ring. In 2009 he has gained his CCD obedience title and his TDX title. He is now working towards his Tracking Championship title and finishing off his show title. Jack has a friendly, cuddly & outgoing nature, is quick to learn, a keen water dog, and is also a very keen retriever with a lovely soft mouth and a delightful biddable nature. In the show ring, he is a multiple Best of Breed, class in group and Specialty class in show winner. In 2008 at the GSP Club of WA Parade, he won Runner Up Best in Show under breed specialist judge Sandra Pert and in 2009 he was awarded Reserve Challenge and Intermediate in Show at the GSP Club of WA Championship Show. At the 7th GSP National Show in September, he was placed 6th in the Intermediate dog class and graded "Excellent" by breed specialist judge Ms Raija Tammelin from Finland.
